Good Hardshell Option

I have an older soft-case version of this product, but I'm a pretty heavy User and travel a lot, so I wanted a hard-shell option to take the abuse I dish out.
This case beauteous much does what it says. Nice hard-shell shelter when closed. good angles for the iPad when it's opened, and the keyboard sync's effortlessly and the battery lasts a long time. I specially like the multiple angles offered for the iPad (the keyboard may be pulled forward providing further and added space and better angles for iPad), and the capacity to turn from landscape into portrait is a nice touch.
I give it 4 stars because I rarely, if ever, give 5 stars. But this is a solid keyboard/case...

Returning my case

I just received the iPad case with keyboard and am returning it. It is flimsy, does not hold the iPad securely (keeps sliding out of the case when the screen is propped up, and the keyboard is little and seems cheaply made. It is difficult to use on my lap, as the top wobbles and does not hold the iPad securely.

iPad 2 keyboard case

I received this keyboard case for Christmas, great addition to my iPad 2. It's a genuinely nice keyboard, and it's so much having little impact than typing on the iPad screen itself, but the weird thing is, the brand isn't actually Kensington... I recognise the keyboard was ordered from this link exactly, but on the keyboard case I have, it says "NEW Trent" rather of "Kensington" like on the pictures in this ad. The keyboard looks incisively the same, and I mean EXACTLY. Well, that's not in truth a problem. This is a genuinely cool accessory to have. There are in all likelihood actually ten or so possible positions to put your iPad in with this case, because you may spun it each which way and the hinged arm flips 180 degress. The circle onto which the iPad is attached hinges with regards to 150 degrees, in addition to spinning 360 degrees. The keyboard slides out to disclose 3 notches (as opposed to four like the description says) which are rubber and provide nice traction for your iPad to rest in. The keyboard is a bit little and takes numerous getting applied to, but now when I type on my Macbook Pro, that keyboard seems abnormally large. There are numerous nice features on the keyboard, too, like a home button, luminance controls, a button that triggers the photo frame feature on the iPad, music controls (stop, play/pause, next, previous), volume controls and mute, and a lock button. The arrow keys are also rather handy. The actual shell that the iPad is in removes from the keyboard, so you may without apparent effort detatch it if you want to play games or something. Another cool thing that isn't brought up in the description is that when you close the case like a laptop, the iPad mechanically goes to sleep. It also mechanically wakes up when you open the case. Also, the little compartment that the charging cable comes in is nifty too; I keep my iPad USB cable, the keyboard USB cable, my earphones, and now and again my stylus inside of it. The case overall seems in truth sturdy, I would strongly commend this to any individual who has an iPad 2.
