It is our very favored green assortment Heirloom Chard!This Beautiful Heirloom Variety was introduced in 1934 and isa very vigorous grower that is very tolerant to heat and cold.With sufficient moisture this plant may be grown all year long without bolting.It is a very easy to grow plant and will do very well in your garden or in containers.You may plant this assortment outside very early in the spring. Up to 3-4 weeks before the intermediate last frost date.Soak your seeds in water prior to planting. The chard seed is actually a dried fruit that holds multiple seeds,so it is very essential to thin your plants. If multiple sprouts emerge from your single seed, thin right away to a single sprout.It grows best in full sun, but may do ok in partial shade.
