Does Its Job

In short: Works fine. Might LOOK mismatched - but works fine.

Details: I've been using this Cord for in regards to a month, with no problems. My power unit is newer than the Cord: the cord is a yellower shade of white, and it's a little narrower than the power unit - but it fits perfectly well.

Sidenote, for persons who use 85W power units: I commend this product for any person who buys an 85W power unit (unless the 85W already comes with one of these extension cords). Here's why: After a few months, the 85W - using the default, tiny plug - will only recharge your laptop, if you jiggle it *just right* into the power outlet. It will get progressively difficult to find the rectify position where your laptop gets recharged. But using one of these cords, the 85W works utterly fine - no hassle.

RE the sidenote: If you're unsure what Wattage your power unit is, it's probably a 45W or 60W (not an 85W) - peculiarly if it is face is square (45W or 60W), not rectangular (85W).

Pretty straight forward

This cable did the best occupation of getting power from the wall to my magsafe charger ever! It was easy to plug in, and worked like a charm after that. I'm attempting to be excessively affected emotionally regarding a power cable...

Cheap, but excellent!

When sending a faulty charger in to Apple, I forgot that you aren't supposed to send in the extension cord...and as promised, "accessories are not returned". Totally my fault, and not something worth whining about. I jumped on Amazon to see how cheap it would be to replace and I was VERY enjoyably surprised. With Amazon Prime (and a $3.99 upgrade) I had my extension cord the next day, and for for less than humans were retail them used online!

While a little more "rubbery" than the original, it is by no means cheap feeling, and fit into my charger perfectly! I have had no difficultnesses after various months!

For the price of a pizza, may anybody in truth complain? Highly recommended!
