Tough and no leaks.

Just purchased this for camping to replace my old plastic piece of garbage. At original sight it looks like an individual just sealed the ends of an inner-tube,put handles and a spigot on it. BUT, it is tough and water tastes fine. The rubber (inner tube) smell is powerful on the outside and I thought it might affect the taste of the water inside. Not so. 5 hours into filling it, the water still tastes sweet. I don't recognise with regards to long term storage. I'm going to leave it for a few days see if taste changes.
As the other reviewer noted it is probably the best for shower water. Leave it the sun and let it heat up and you have hot water. You could also fetch the water into the tent as a hot water bottle.

Update:
water had a definitive rubber taste at 12 hrs after filling it. I believe the term is vulcanized rubber.

Great Water Bag

I have six of these I have purchased over the past 6 years . They are tough, easy to fill, don't leak, and with the rope handles easy to move or fill. I have applied these for emergency water, hang in the Sun for a hot shower, camping, and to water a remote garden I have due to drought . I may lay two of these filled on my front 4 wheeler rack, two in the rear basket then ride uphill and down, at a reasonable speed, without tying down . Can put all 6 in a cart and transport with ATV also. Best portable water container I've ever used . BudKs price of $10.88 on Amazon is outstanding too, plus they were sent fast and delivered to my door UPS . I have other water containers but these are the best . Would commend to anybody .

solar showers work!

I purchased these water bags for my son who was flooded out in Minot North Dakota. We've been showering from them for over a month. What may I say, they are swiss military surplus. They get filled in the morning with cold water and we get hot showers. I've got another set that I've had for 10 years and they are good to go.
Get a great deal of for washing. You'll be a happy camper.
