In the third part of the Renewal Series, the concealed community in the Coffee County countryside teaches the painful lesson that fairness and justice carry a cost, and reveals the story of how the Carter family carve a home from the southern woods in the chaos of post-Breakdown America.

The story plot proceeds to thicken and now there is a little trouble and action brewing at the little community. Its dealt with in the most cool way.
A continuance of the current circumstance mixed very nicely with the older gentleman still continuing the story of how the "event" happened and what life was like at that time.
This in my opinion is rather a freshening "apocalyptic" type story but in reality is much more than just another apocalyptic type book. I wont give the story away anymore as I have in other reviews but if you take delight in apocalyptic type books but likewise yearn for something more than the standard apocalyptic books deliver, this novella series is it.
If you are finding this review first, be sure to go back and pick up the original two ... first!
They are great little reads and I genuinely think you will receive pleasure from them.
This author formulated another "first" for me. I was in the middle of reading "Invasion America" when I noticed this one had come out. I couldn't protest getting it and without delay starting to read it. I've never, ever been more than willing to stop in the middle of one book to pick up another but I did for this one and will again when the next one is released.
If you are on the fence at all, press the button and begin reading. I genuinely don't think you will be disappointed.

You will NOT be dissapointed in this or any of these (10) Renewal books. In a nut shell, author covers all the necessitated parts for books in this genre while preserving an adequate level of mutual sense and believability...ie..no ninja dust, ray guns, or childlike tangents. Excitement with substance. Great.
