There are a couple of Mondaine watches that look very similar: A6603032811SBB, A6583030011SBB, A6583033211SBB. This one is unquestionably the most elegant, even though the dial to me is too oversized. Then you have the 011 Mondaine - A6583030011SBB (Size: men), not only cheap in terms of money, but likewise cheap looking, unquestionably a disapointment when you open the package. Finally, the 211 Mondaine - A6583033211SBB (Size: men), in all probability the best but in terms of cash versus value and elegance. I would go for that one.

Amazing watch, I get tons of compliments. Only downsize is it is not automatic, it uses a battery. But for the price, it is real nice.

star20 tpng swiss railroad watchThis is the "Giant" Mondaine Railway Watch & the dial is HUGE!
By Mister Bones
If you're buying goods carefully, it will take you a while to sort through all the variants of the men's Railway Watches that Mondaine makes. I commend going to the manufacturer's (e.g. Mondaine) main to view the dissimilar models such as Classic, Sport, and Evo.

Beyond those slight design variations, a good deal of of the optional features available include case diameter size, brushed and/or polished stainless steel, luminescence, and day/date etc. You may likewise find a assortment of models on Amazon.

The watch on this page is called the "Giant," and it's main point of distinction is it's huge 42mm case diameter. Hopefully, you have numerous watches at home that you know the case diameter of so you may get a sense of how you want the Mondaine Railway Watch to look on your wrist. (Tip: Amazon lists this dimension for all the watches it sells, so if you may find yours on Amazon you may get the measurement.)

While I wanted "big", this watch ended up looking like an over-sized clock on my wrist. I was completely unhappy with the look. I think the size of the dial is significantly magnified by the rounded glass -- and it all looked out of proportionality to me. For me, this effect was not discernible from the product photos. I returned the watch without delay and am hoping to find another size/style of Mondaine Railway watch that I like. I would have to think that this watch would make an uttermost statement on anyone's wrist, and I am not into that.

The Mondaine warranty info will have to be stated on this page, but it is not. Swiss Outpost told me that the watch comes with a two warranty from Mondaine and instructions on where to send it for service etc. Some reviewers have reported reliability problems, so the warranty is essential to know.
