star30 tpng swiss railwaysIt's a Mondaine alright, but...
By Jan Husdal
Having done rather a bit of railway travelling in Central Europe in my younger days. I do not forget seeing this kind of dial on each railway clock, and seeing this watch brought back a good deal of memories. However, the cheap look and finish of the material was a bit disappointing, and the the band is attached to the case is not very elegant. Also, the distinctive 58-second full circle and 2-second full stop of the seconds hand (the way the railway clocks do) is not integrated in the wristwatch version. Unfortunately the item I purchased from WatchZone.com also had a faulty minutes hand...but the vendor was most accommodating and gave me a full refund including return shipping. Next time, I think I'll go for this one: Mondaine - A6583033211SBB (Size: men)

star30 tpng swiss railwaysConks out after ~1 year
By KDeeJay
This watch stands out because of it is simplicity and I have gotten innumerable compliments on it. However, after in regards to a year of owning it, it started to give me disturb (running slow, freezing, etc). I sent it back to the fix center assorted times and, after the last time when they returned it to me with a crack on the glass face, I decisive to save my shipping and handling and only wear it as a bracelet. I still get compliments on the watch (especially when I switch to a bright red band), but it is dirty little mystery is that it does not tell the rectify time.

star50 tpng swiss railwaysI only wear this watch
By Richard Osborn
I purchased my men's Mondaine Swiss Railway watch 2 years ago. I basi saw it in London at Harrods and was fascinated as I recognized it from the European Railway Station time pieces. I knew I had to have it. I didn't buy it there because of the interchange rate and the VISA dealing charge so I purchased it when I came home and it has served me very well. I get so a great deal of compliments on it. It wears with any attire, from formal to casual. I am sorry to listen that others have had difficulties and some are discontented with it is look. I have never had a problem with it and hopefully I won't.
