I ordered this queer spatula for it's width, high quality construction, origin (made is US!), and company reputation. It was commended in an article I read when it comes to best utensils to use with Lodge Cast Iron skillets for refining of the seasoning process. My only detraction to this product is the fact that the stain applied on the wooden handle leached after the original hand washing. Fortunately, it didn't permanently stain my dish towels, but was still an unexpected incidence. I will be ordering this brand for all my future spatula purchases!
