By LenGlen
There is not one thing not to like when it comes to this watch. From the moment you take it out of the box you will know it is a quality timepiece. All elements are machined to fine tolerances. Most of it is brush polished so it will not show scratches as much, but percentage of the bezel has just sufficient fine polish to accent it's beauty and design. The watch has a solid feel and the heft of stainless steel so you recognise it may take some real punishment. The sapphire crystal is thick, solid, and crystal clear. The magnifying cyclops is under the crystal so there is no bump to mar the smooth surface of the crystal. The unidirectional rotating bezel has 120 clicks and rotates with resolute determination with a very satisfying resistance. This Swiss Army Divemaster is rated to 500 meters WR, which is 300 meters more than most dive watches. It is one of the few watches you may feel comfortable with for real diving. The watch does NOT have an exhibition back. Of course, being a unfeigned , it has a screw-down crown.

The bracelet is made of solid stainless steel links connected with friction pins. It has solid end links. It has a diver's extension. It likewise has the capacity for minor length adjustments by motion of a little pin in the clasp. The clasp is a authenti deployant model with locking clasp. The metal of the deployant mechanism is heavy and solid, not thin stamped metal like that used in for less watches. The hands and the hour markers are coated with a substance that is nicely illuminated in the dark after exposure to light. The lume is rather nice. Much better than a great deal of other watches I have tried, even though not rather up to the standards of the Seiko Monster. Finally, this watch keeps great time. What more would you suppose from a Swiss Made quartz movement? The watch is comfortable, somewhat priced, built like a tank, yet sized just right for an intermediate person, and looks great. This is, by far, the best quartz watch I have ever owned.

star50 tpng swiss watch international automaticLooks better in person!

I searched through hundreds and hundreds of watches looking for something with a blue face and this one was the winner. The photos online were either washed out or dark but possibly that was to save the surprise for when it arrived! It is gorgeous, queer and the silver bezel shines the brightest. The watch is heavy but not so heavy where it feels uncomfortable, it's just right. The Swiss motion is perfect, the fit and finish of a watch much more expensive. This watch is still going for $400 in stores so to get it at $250 was a nice bonus to get a terrific watch. My introductory Swiss Army Watch has been all over the world, in two war zones and has taken a ton of abuse. Besides galore nicks on the bezel it still looks great and it has been the most dependable watch I've ever owned (14 years now). Hoping this one is just as good, it surely is off to a fine start.
