Faux Leather?

This item is handy and has a removable travel tray/case. Although the product is worth the price, I am not convinced that it is leather. It appears to be vinyl and as it is embossed-it just seems... cheap. I would have remunerated more to have real leather had I known that this was not. However, I am keeping it as it serves my needs. When I find a similar piece in leather-I will replace it.

It was a gift for an individual else.
She seemed to like it. She has 2 children, ages 2 and 4, and the lock and the handle will work well to keep them out of her things.
Nice size. And finelooking roomy for that size.

Very nice jewelry box

This jewelry box is set up well. I started downsizing my jewelry, only keeping pieces I wore on a regular basis, and it takes up much less space on my dresser. One reviewer cited she wasn't sure if it was actual leather, but I feel that it is, in truth better looking in person than in the picture. I feel it was worth the money, though the one part I had no use for was the travel case because my traveling comprises of visiting family out of town and I don't need to fetch dissimilar jewelry for that. All in all, a good buy and arrived within indicated time.
