A masterwork that covers each single GMT model to 2006 By Ozlanka Yet another outstanding book from the Mondani family. The photos cover the entire range of this distinguishable watch.
From the very basi models that were made for PanAm pilots, then their ground crew and on to becomming a piece of jewellery studded with diamonds, rubies and sapphires.
For the purists, the gem studded GMT is not attractive, rather the "Pepsi" or "Coke" models with the Blue & Red bezels are the way to go. This book gives minute details of each of the bezels that have graced this watch over the years.
The book has a wealth of info on each watch and motion in the GMT series all the way to 2008.
The book likewise includes the GMT Master with the 3186 caliber motion in the standard GMT 16710 case, most times reffered to as the STICKS model as the Roman II was replace with san serif font. This watch is a transition model.
The GMT Master book and the Submariner book are a worthy pair to grace the shelves of any avid Rolex fan.
Both are hard to get. If you find one, buy it! See all 2 client reviews... |
