Great Video and Pics By Leon J. Reed Jr. Was leary of Bushnell cams after last years models. But this one is just fantastic. With the black flash I can not see any light emitted when it goes off on IR. The HD video is aweinspiring and that comes with Audio. The pics are outstanding both night and day. Trigger time seems to be in regards to 1 sec. Deer do not even look at this cam at night when it goes off, they can not see it. Best camera I have ever owned and I have owned rather a few over the years. 14 of 14 humans found the following review helpful.
Bushnell 8mp trophy cam By Slidein2001 Bought this camera after researching galore cameras. Have had Stealth Cams in the past , all junk ,have a Remington Cam that works great , but i actually like this Bushnell trophy cam. Put it over a feed plot and got outstanding color day pictures and the night photos were nice and clear also. Put it on the video mode and got over 80 videos each night with no blanks. I would buy another of these cameras. 13 of 13 people found the following review helpful.
Worked outstanding for a while By PJ We got great daytime pictures, TONS of them, and outstanding video. Sometimes the audio wasn't so good, in particular at night when the crickets or frogs were actually earsplitting or were right near the camera, overpowering the microphone. For having nearly no light emitted from the camera, the nighttime pictures and video were acceptable. Everything worked great from in regards to late June early July 2011, through Sept/Oct when bow season started we were getting less and less pictures. I thought possibly it was just because of the other guy hunting in our area putting pressure on the deer. Then one day I watched two deer walk by the camera, and thought it would be neat to check and see the pictures when I got out of the stand. When I checked the card there were no pictures of the two deer i watched walk past. The battery indicator said everything was at full charge.
So the next time I went out I checked the card again and there were NO pictures, not even of myself walking by the camera, and none of myself walking up to the camera to retrieve the card. So now we took it home and put in new batteries. Still nothing, even at room temperature, and unquestionably not one thing outside, of us walking by a heap of times with our dogs. The only thing it does is take pictures when you press the 'shot' button in setup mode.
So we filled out the Bushnell repair form and sent it in. It is still beneath the 1 year warranty, since we purchased it in June. After checking online I found on respective forums that other humans are having the same problem. They had initially outstanding results and then the camera stopped working. Hopefully I will get a repair or alternate actually fast, as I would like to see if my two bucks I've been hunting are still alive or if any new ones showed up! See all 24 client reviews... |
