Swiss Army Luggage Repair
The perfective gift for golfers! Featuring our famous 10 function GolfTool with one-hand divot fix tool, a nylon carrying pouch with clip for your golf bag, and 3 Callaway Blue Big Bertha golf balls. Packaged in a gift tin.
Victorinox's Swiss Army Golf Tool Gift Set is the perfective gift for the golfer in your life when any special occasion comes up. It comes with a one-hand divot repair tool, a nylon carrying pouch with clip for your golf bag, and three Callaway Big Bertha golf balls. The Golf Tool does not look like a traditionalisti pocket knife--it's wider, flat and lies very comfortably in the hand. Ten tools are fitted under the robust, scratch-free nylon shell, including a ball marker, fix tool, tee puncher, groove cleaner, blade, scissors, tweezers, toothpick, and a nail file. The Repair Tool may be extended using the golf ball shaped pushbutton and may be employed to fix depressions in the grass. The blades fitted on the side vanish into the inside of the tool with the slightest pressure, so that the fork is very comfortable to use. The blade of the Groove Cleaner may be applied to clean the grooves on the golf club, and is very utile for punching the position for the tee--especially in hard or frozen ground. About Swiss Army Knives In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus begun what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combining of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox formulates watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The forerunner of that name dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women buying goods in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor or versatility.

A divot tool to replace all those ones I have lost..... By Jeff Bee Every golfer has lost a good deal of divot tools. From the cheap plastic ones that break soon after the pro shop basket is empty to the more costly steel ones that attach to a golfer's hat or pants pocket. This one is great. The Victorinox Swiss Army Golf tool is made by the same humans who make the multi intention Swiss army knives and wristwatches. It holds a ball marker, a push buttom activated divot tool, scissors, a pen blade, and a bottle cap tool. The device is well made, more or less heavy (you know it is in your pocket) and also comes with a swivel clip and velcro nylon case to attach to a belt loop. Three Callaway HX Tour balls sweetened the deal. 17 of 24 people found the following review helpful.
Flimsy Holder, Poor Design Attributes By The Country's The nylon-threaded holder rips easily. Ball marker held insecurely - lost marker after one round. Use of metal to clean iron groove is unthinkable - it would just scratch the club face.
Now applied as a $30, glorified ball-mark repairer.
Disappointed because I have been a big fan of Victorinox. I would have designed it this way:
- magnetic to hold 2 metal ball markers (disposable); - couple of holes to hold generic tees (disposable); - little nylon brush to clean grooves; - keep ball-mark repairer as-is.
A way to monogram balls will be a plus. 1 of 1 humans found the following review helpful.
Nice tool By D. Smith Nice tool that works well. I would think of it more as a golf cart tool rather then something a golfer would carry around all of the time. See all 39 client reviews... |
