Offering current exploration and reflections on violence versus women

The new edition of this critical resource provides broad coverage of the current state of research, theory, prevention, and intervention when it comes to violence versus women. Each of the 18 chapters belongs to one of three parts: theoretical and methodological issues in researching violence versus women, types of violence versus women, or preventative action and direct intervention. The editors and contributing writers have crafted their work to give hope or courage to discussion and debate and likewise to address issues of diversity and cultural contexts, as well as to thoroughly and closely question or examine inequalities of race and ethnicity, social class, physical ability, sexual orientation, and geographic location.

The book was in an alright condition. It had more highlighting than I had expected, but I am glad that the book was for less than what my school was going to charge me if I had purchased it on campus. Like the title said, it was delivered on time, which I was happy with regards to since I was leaving a few days after the expected arrival date.
