star50 tpng swiss watch pronunciationA nice new edition to this annual series
By Stephen M. Greene
Reviewer "Peace Monger" complains that there is no mention or representation of Grand Seiko in this issue so let me point out two facts. Number one, Grand Seiko watches are not available from dealers in the United States, I believe they are only available in the domestic Japanes market. Sure it might be nice to see them in this edition but his gripe is unwarranted since Wristwatch Annual is predominantly purposed to a U.S. readership (and perchance the U.K.). Look at the merchant ads and service centers mentioned, they are all US based. Second point is that this is the original edition of Wristwatch Annual that has (ever) had a Seiko section. So, at least the brand is represented in this edition. I checked my annual editions bavk to the 1999 edition to verify this. I think this 2010 edition is a outstanding book. Certainly an betterment over the 2008 edition which tried to cram too a heap of watches (eight) on each page versus the six per page in this, and last year's 2009 edition. However, the pictures are still a tiny bit littler than the pre 2008 (2007 and backwards) editions. Nevertheless, the pictures are nice, the person watch descriptions informative and a good deal of new models are represented in this new 2010 edition. If you are at all mesmerized in high quality Swiss and German fabricated watches, you will have to buy this eagerly prevised each year book!

star40 tpng swiss watch pronunciationThe bible of lavishness wrist watches?
By Shimone Samuel
Not being a connoisseur of luxuriousness wristwatches I still be grateful for their beauty and history. This catalog goes into outstanding detail and provides me all the reading material I could want. In peculiar I liked the inclusion of prices and encountered the availability of a few "affordable" (sub $1K) lines which was a nice bonus. It's a thick volume with high-quality photographs staged in an informative structured, outline. If there's a competing catalog I'd love to see what more may be offered because this one seems to cover it all.

star40 tpng swiss watch pronunciationA Must Read for Watch Lovers
By Norman Plotkin
An splendid survey of the major European watch manufactures and designers. The are excellent. Very little discussion or writeups on the Asian manufacturers. As somebody new to watch gathering I found it arousing and attention holding and well worth the modest cost. I loved looking at million dollar watches but I would likewise like to see writeups and remarks on watches costing less than one thousand dollars. I will unquestionably buy next years edition. Amazon's service was splendid as we have come to expect.
