Add a sporty edge to your professional and casual couture with the Swatch Windfall men's chronograph watch, which offers a classic design and silver/black coloring. The brushed stainless steel case is topped by a black-plated bezel with tachymeter readings in white, which may be employed to measure time over distance. The gunmetal dial face includes three black chrono subdials (enabling you to time events down to 1/10 of a second), stylized skeleton hands with seconds hand and luminous tips, white stick hour markers, and little minute indexes around the outer edge. The aluminum bracelet band has a brushed finish and center links covered by black plastic plackets. Other features include precise Swiss quartz movement, date window at 4 o'clock, and water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet)--enabling it to withstand splashes and snowspray, but not suitable for swimming.

About Swatch In the mid 1970s, the Swiss watch industry was in the midst of it is worst ever crisis after facing stiff contest from Japanese-made brands. The Swatch brand was launched in 1983 with the firstborn Swatch quartz watch, a slim plastic timepiece with only 51 parts that combined top quality with a highly lowpriced price. Today, after sales of over 200 million watches, the Swatch Group has grown to include brands such as Omega, Longines, Rado, Mido, and Pierre Balmain as well as the firstborn Swatch brand. The name "Swatch" is often misconstrued as a contraction of the words "Swiss Watch," but Nicolas Hayek, Chairman of the Swatch Group, affirms that the initial contraction was "Second Watch." Beautiful Watch By Angie's Daddy I learned in regards to this watch in an issue of Money Magazine where an article equated lavishness label items to similar quality items that cost much less. In this case it was noted that Swatch owns the high end watch brand Omega, and that the Swatch Windfall looks almost identical to the $3000.00 Omega Speedmaster.
I agree, it is a very handsome watch and I have received a good deal of compliments on it is good looks. It looks some times more pricey than the $100.00 I paid for it. If you don't require the cachet of a high end label then I highly commend this watch. 13 of 14 humans found the following review helpful.
Good looking watch, but band may break. By A I have own this watch since 2006. It is a good looking watch, but I have the plastic portion of the wrist band broken twice now. I had it fixed twice by replacing sectionalizations of the band. Now, it has broken again. I won't have it repair any more since it will just be breaking again in in regards to another year's time. I suggest you ought to consider a watch with more inviolable wrist band that's made with all metal parts. The plastic is just not good enough. I think it is a bad design on swatch's part. 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful.
Your Basic, Sturdy Watch By Cagle Received as a gift; looks nice, matches anything; feels nice and heavy, crystal seems to protest scratching, altho I have in some way managed to scratch the case somewhat over two months of wear. All features work as advertised. See all 24 client reviews... |
