Although this fine Swiss product was introductory devised by monks, it is now developed by the lay community. Tete de Moine, made in the Swiss Alps from rich unpasteurized cows' milk, is a sharp cheese with a full, nutty flavor. Its intense flavor is even more pronounced when equated to other cheeses from Switzerland, like Gruyere and Emmental. A unfeigned distinguishing trait item, Tete de Moine deserves to be regarded as one of the world's great cheeses. The full flavor of Tete de Moine is only revealed when the cheese is scraped or peeled in thin ruffles or rosettes using a girolle. The girolle comprises of a plastic stand with a vertical rod, upon which a blade is mounted such that it may be cranked in order to scrape the top of the Tete de Moine cheese. A fantasti gift for any person who enjoys fine Switzerland cheese. This set also makes an impressive display at a little party.

My other favored cheese By M. Beck I was introduced to this cheese at respective social events while living in Switzerland in 2003. I tended to eat as much as I could grab for myself. :0) It is served in shaved rolls, to fetch out the flavor of the cheese. It has a pronounced sharp flavor, but it is not overpowering. something special.... By Glenda K. Wagner this set is genuinely special... it was given to us as a christmas gift a few years ago.. it is a fun item to have and great at particular dinners and at parties... the girolle has a arm that you turn to make very very thin shavings of cheese ...as you turn it.. it makes little buds of flowers... make a few to set on board... and watch all your guess go crazy making cheese flowers to eat...all you have to do is put out some grapes and slice fruit and crackers and bamm... you have the perfective appetizer... while you are finishing up your meal you may rest assure your company is having fun ...the monk head cheese is wonderful.. the cheese melts in your mouth like butter.. the taste is delicious ...i genuinely commend this for you.. and for a gift... humans you give it to will love it... makes a outstanding wedding- christmas- anytime gift..(wish i knew how to contact this company... they owe me a commission...hee hee.. cos i have had a great deal of people to undertake it...and buy it... i LOVE THIS PRODUCT...
