Precision. Craftsmanship. Multi-functionality.
Wenger supplied the Swiss Army with multi-functional tools as early as 1908. That’s over 100-years of history being there with the right tool at the right time for in a literal sense millions of troops and consumers. Today, the Wenger brand stands as a benchmark for quality, multi-functionality and precision engineering. Many watches have quartz movements and stainless steel cases. But there is one feature only a few timepieces may assert – a pedigree. In 1988 Wenger turned it is inimitable hand to that other icon of Swiss craftsmanship - the Swiss Watch. The exacting standards reflected in Wenger Swiss Army knives extend to a collection of multi-functional Swiss-made watches for men and women. It’s no wonder our timepieces are prized the world over for their accuracy, handsome design and authentic craftsmanship. Not to mention the inheritance of Swiss innovation that makes all Wenger merchandise legendary. |

Almost Perfect By MMA guy Pros: -It is heavy, durable, and has a quality feel to it. It's a Wenger of course -The compass feature is aweinspiring and it works reasonably accurately. -Easy to follow instructions for setting time and compass -Accuracy is excellent
Cons: -Very weak illumination on the numbers even when charged by external light sources. -No illumination on the hands at all, then why would you illumine the numbers? -No way to tell time in the dark detached from pressing the digital time. -Watchband has a strong rubber smell. It might be annoying to some -Price
For less cash you may buy a number of Casio, Seiko, and Citizen watches that will provide you with better reliability and features that are not available on this watch. I genuinely liked this watch, but the absense of the illumination was a deal breaker for me. 11 of 12 persons found the following review helpful.
Utility and great looks By Sand Lizard The Wenger Nomad is the most stealthy ana/digi watch I own or have seen. Except for the four pushers, 2 on each side, you would never guess it has digital capabilities. The sun ray black face is beautiful, with stylish, easy to read hands. A push and any button reveals a big easy to read, red digital display, with all expected functions, time, day, and date. The surprise function is a digital compass that not only works well, you may enter declination for your emplacement so it is precise too. The only short coming of this watch is the rubber band. If you have a wrist larger than 7.5 inches you will need to buy a more prominent band. I would not let that stop me, though, this is a very distinctive and sporty compass watch. Of course it is Swiss made, and the quality shows. 2 of 2 persons found the following review helpful.
High quality product By Camper Very high quality watch. LED are more glorious than pictures show. I thought a former review stating the blue covers on the buttons was odd until I tried to remove them. Wow, it was a pain, he was correct. Beautiful watch that effortlessly catches eyes and gets compliments. I own numerous high quality watches and this is both utilitarian, and has a classic look for using at work. I commend this watch, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Amazon's free shipping was very good value as it arrived sooner than they stated, only five total days. See all 12 client reviews... |
