Swiss Dairy Farms

The National Photo Company Collection documents almost all distinct elements of Washington, D.C., life. During the administrations of Presidents Wilson, Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover, the National Photo Company supplied photographs of current news events in Washington, D.C., as a each day service to it is subscribers. It also prepared sets of pictures on popular subjects and undertook special photographic assignings for local businesses and government agencies. The images date amidst ca. 1850 and 1945; the bulk of the images were formulated amid 1909 and 1932. Photo Dr. W. Thurnheer of Swiss legation and Sec. Wallace at Beltsville, Md., farm with dairy cows, 8/18/24. Reprint is 16 in. x 20 in. on archival quality photo paper.
