Seiko Men's #SNA411

Whether you’re a pilot or you merely want a high-performance, features-packed timepiece, this flight chronograph watch is sure to please. It has a round black dial, with luminous markers and big luminous hands, set in a coin-edged stainless steel bezel. The watch features a date window at the three o’clock position and three sub-dials. Its stopwatch feature may measure up to sixty minutes in 1/5-second increments. The alarm, a two-hand sub-dial, may be set on a twelve-hour basis, and it doubles as an international travel clock since the alarm hands may be set to indicate the time in a dissimilar time zone. This watch also has a bi-directional rotating slide rule bezel for performing a great deal of types of calculations. Other features include a scratch-resistant curved Hardlex crystal and a screw-down crown and caseback. The watch is staged on a stainless steel link bracelet that fastens with fold-over push button clasp. Water-tested to 200 meters, the watch is suitable for skin diving. It has a battery life of two to three years.

A Modern Mechanical Jewel

I purchased this watch for myself for Christmas 3 years ago and still love it.

At the time I in truth wanted a Breitling Navitimer Fighter but they were retail for around $3,000, and I knew I wouldn't feel comfortable walking around with thousands of bucks on my wrist.

I happened on this watch on Amazon and was without delay taken with it. Let me say, that the photo does not do this watch justice. When I received the Seiko I was astonished that it had much more sparkle than this photo imparts. And what actually impressed me was that the face has great depth to it. The photo on Amazon shows a flat black surface with a mishmash of white lettering all over it, but in reality it looks much more like a mini metal Roman Colliseum with raised sides and a recessed center plain under thick glass. The face is in regards to 3/8" thick. Very substantial and classy looking. Also, there is more contrast amid the shiny center of the wrist band next to the flat silver sides than this photo indicates.

I wore it to work one day, and a female coworker remarked,"your watch is gorgeous!" and that she was looking for one like it for her husband. And when I told her the price she couldn't believe it.

The Breitling Navitimer is a beauteous watch, but since owning this Seiko Chronograph I seldom ever think in regards to owning a Breitling. And since Navitimers now trade for over $6000 I feel even better when it comes to the $475 Seiko I got for $200.

slide rules rule!

I purchased this watch for the slide rules function on the bezel. It is very handy for me in my profession to be capable to do multiplication, division, ratios and conversions on the watch. The only problem is that the numbers are a little small
Over all very well built and lasting watch.

Best Watch I've Ever Owned

I gather watches but am very picky because I am comparatively short and have a little wrist. Most of my watches are habit fit for my wrist. I was reluctant to buy this watch because chronographs are notoriously bulky and adjusting them may be a pain.

However, as soon as I received this watch I knew it was the best buy I'd ever made for a timepiece. Everything from the casing to the way the watch was packaged was perfect. The craftsmanship is unmatched, the watch has more tools on it than you'll ever need, and best of all the diameter was only more or less more spectacular than a great deal of of my other watches (also only more or less taller because of the slide rule). Overall, this is a great deal exceptionally for the price. Similar chronographs cost as much as $3,000.00 USD.

The alarm function is a bit tedious to set up, but I never use a watch as an alarm because I need something more powerful. Small watch alarms plainly aren't practical.

Aesthetically, it is one of the most gorgeous timepieces I've ever purchased and it is a outstanding addition to my collection of chronographs. I am so happy with this watch that I have to stare at it each 10 minutes because it is such a cool accessory!
