You get what you pay for. By Alexander T. Clark Exterior: This is made mainly of cheap sentiment plastic, and I'm always frighted I'll break it if I bump it versus something. The adjustment dials are very loose and I keep having to recalibrate it, as they get turned without intention just from normal use. The on-off switch just pops off, and I've closely lost it on more than one occasion.
Viewing: The area you look through is TINY in comparison to the overall size of the unit (which is rather large), making it difficult to aim in a hurry. The actual crosshair also ends up obscuring a huge amount of your view. It has two luminance settings, which is nice, but that doesn't win a victory over the difficulties with this sight.
If you've got a gun that's worth over $100, invest in a better sight. Your intention will thank you for it. Airsoft backyard warzzz? Go for it. 1 of 1 persons found the following review helpful.
Not bad for the price. By Sparty I have had one of these for a couple of years now. I purchased it primarily to see what a "cheep" Red Dot sight would be like. I already have more highpriced ones. This peculiar one is all plastic but I have dropped once and not one thing happened to it. It's pretty cheaply constructed but what would you suppose for the $10 bucks I expended on it. I mounted it on my Crossman 1077 C02 rifle (600fps). I was actually surprised. Decently precise at 40 feet or so. The sighting hole is little and the optics are not the best. But....
All-in-all if you need to sight in speedily (use it in an Airsoft war) this is not good sight. But, if you have time amongst shoots at a range or someplace like that it works OK. At least mine does. If you may jump up to $30 you may get a far (and I mean quantumly) better Red Dot sight. 3 of 4 persons found the following review helpful.
cool By airsofter just got this and it is gorgeous nice. the adjusting knobs are a little lose but do not move durring regular use. it has a cool little cross that a heap of humans say is to huge but i thing it is fine. i think this is the perfective red dot sight if you do not want to spend $40 bucks on a red dot sight.
