Worth Every Penny!!! By TC I expended months looking for watches, I tried on in all probability 200 watches in this time. I was looking at Tags and Breitling watches but they are just priced too far over my budget. Then I wondered over to the Hamilton Case at my local watch store and tried on couple. The X-Copter was not in the display case but after researching the brand and observing a lot of youtube videos one the X-Copter I made the decision to buy it. It is my basi buy on Amazon and i couldn't be more satisfied. The watch is top notch and gets noticed, it is an impressive watch, good size, weight and quality. I own a Tag Aquaracer and a Citizen Eco-Drive and this watch blows them out of the water. I don't know why the Hamilton Brand isn't more well known but if they keep constructing watches like this they will be in no time. I also like the fact that I have yet to come all over another X-Copter. I highly commend this watch if you are on the fence in regards to purchasing it....do it you will not be disappointed!!!! 1 of 1 persons found the following review helpful.
Total Quality Watch but Still Room for Improvement and Update By Larry B. I received this watch very timely, as promised. Hamilton built evident quality into it and it's very classy looking. None of the descriptions cited precisely how the chronograph would work. The crown, as usual, sets the time, day, date. The upper right hand button initiates chronograph time. This may be started and stopped at any time. The bottom right push button re-sets all three chronograph functions to zero, where the chrono will have to be left to be available at a moment's notice. Chrono records seconds, minutes to 30, and hours to 12. The left hand control, Maximum Take Off Weight, is merely a recording device and isn't a calculating function. Weight of this watch with band is 5 3/8 oz.....very heavy and impressive....and takes a great deal of getting used to. The rose gold is a little too pink equated to other rose gold jewelry. The gold appears more or less as copper, but may be suitable for this type of sporty/dressy watch. This, along with the fact that the huge instruction booklet has a very minimum of instructions in it, keep me from awarding all five stars and I'm deducting a half star for these two items. The band is exceedingly thick and reasonably stiff and could use a great deal of leather conditioner. Overall, though, a very impressive watch with the look of one that might cost a thousand more. Excellent quality, aspect and function.....you won't be disappointed.
Update on 1-15-2012. After just 5 or 6 months, watch now has two difficultnesses and ought to be sent back to dealer for repairs. Both troubles are chronograph: Elapsed minutes hand has fallen off....and elapsed hour dial resets to "11" and not to zero, so is one full hour off. This is altogether unacceptable for a watch of this caliber and price. It has not been mistreated in any way. Very disappointed now and must do without the watch for a amount of time of time while repairs take place. I've downgraded this from 4 1/2 stars to only 3 stars. HORRIBLE SELLER- FAKE PRODUCTS- Watch out please By Mommy2009 I purchased a Hamilton Watch from this Supplier and the watch never worked properly, I contacted them to get it fixed they said it will take 6-8 weeks to repair, ( A $1.1350 ) Watch that Ijust bought, Then I repaired it myself. After 4 months the watch stopped working all together and I contaced the Seller and they told me to send it in AT MY OWN COST and they will see what they may do and if they may fix it but again it will take 6-8 weeks. My husband has 2 other Hamilton watches which we purchased at the store and never had any issues with them, This watch distinctly turned out to be a fake! I tool it to a store and they could not assert wheather the serial number even existed. I am so disappointed that AMAZON could not aid with this issue either and told me to go and write a review as they may not change anything after 4 months of purchase. See all 3 client reviews... |
