The Wenger Story

Precision. Craftsmanship. Multi-functionality.

Wenger supplied the Swiss Army with multi-functional tools as early as 1908. That’s over 100-years of history being there with the right tool at the right time for in a literal sense millions of troops and consumers. Today, the Wenger brand stands as a benchmark for quality, multi-functionality and precision engineering.

Many watches have quartz movements and stainless steel cases. But there is one feature only a few timepieces may assert – a pedigree. In 1988 Wenger turned it is inimitable hand to that other icon of Swiss craftsmanship - the Swiss Watch. The exacting standards reflected in Wenger Swiss Army knives extend to a collection of multi-functional Swiss-made watches for men and women. It’s no wonder our timepieces are prized the world over for their accuracy, handsome design and authentic craftsmanship. Not to mention the inheritance of Swiss innovation that makes all Wenger merchandise legendary.

Received this watch a couple weeks ago. I primarily wear as a casual-sport watch. And I got it at a pretty nice price -just around 200..IT's heavy and well built, very sturdy in feel and appearance. It's big, but not unreasonably so as to draw not wanted or unecessary attention to it. The band is a somewhat thick, lasting silicone and works ok with this watch. The band, if hot outside, does seem to grab a bit on your skin and stick after wearing it for various hours, but it's evident durability and resistance to the elements makes up for this (it's moisture/sweat resistant). But these are just minor issues and surely not deal-breakers. The watch is also easy to operate and not too elaborated to be practical at keeping chrono time. This is a 'man-watch'...understated, solid, strong, and it makes a bit of a statement, the right kind of statement for any guy who's not into "jewelry", but demands a solid, good looking timepiece. Overall happy with this purchase. Delivery was somewhat prompt and I received it in brand new condition.

I would agree with the other posters as far as quality and watch construction, it's good and solid. The poster who talked with regards to dust clinging to the band was dead on. I received my watch yesterday, love the look and feel but the band collects dust, fuzz and other fine corpuscles like crazy and it's a little annoying. I'm sure if I run it underneath water it will be perfectly clean again but it won't stay that way very long. Other than that I love the watch. If Wenger makes other bands for this watch I may look into that option.

star50 tpng swiss expedition watch calStriking!
By Kevin Huckins
For the past three years, i've wanted this watch, and now I have at last purchased it. After looking over the other Swiss Raid watches, (Green and orange) I decisive to go with white because it appealed to me the most as being very striking and unique. Couple that with the that it's the Patagonian Expedition watch, and you get the best of both worlds. To me the watch screams military, adventurous, outdoors etc. and not only is the design very good, but it's likewise an exceedingly exact watch. The black rubber/silicone strap is very comfortable and effortlessly conforms to your wrist so that it feels like it's worn in perfectly right out of the box. And overall I love the contrast of the luminous white design (very easy to read in the dark, all of it lights up brilliantly. Just make sure to take it outside for the duration of daylight to "charge" the luminous coating and you're good to go in the dark).

Very happy with this . I own 5 Wenger watches total, and this has now become my favorite.
