The introductory manufacturer of Swiss Army Knives, Victorinox has crafted high-quality cutlery in Switzerland since 1884. With five features, the Swiss Army Classic SD model is the perfective choice to tote on a day hike, picnic in the park, or in a coat pocket for regular every day use. The Classic SD includes a knife blade, scissors, nail file with screwdriver tip, and a key ring.

Hand finished by the skilled cutlers at Victorinox, the Classic SD blade is crafted in high-carbon stainless steel for increased hygiene, balance, and permanence. The blade construction resists rusting, staining, and pitting while sustaining sharpness. The blade is stamped from a single sheet and tempered using a distinguishable procedure that brings about lasting edges that may withstand usual re-sharpening over years of use. really Great little knife

This knife is missing the toothpick and tweezers when equated to the regular version with plastic scales. But what you get rather is a knife that is only ONE HALF as thick! Besides, who uses the toothpick or tweezers anyway. 99.9% of the functionality of this knife is in the 3 main tools. This thing is so amazingly slender that you may carry it around in your front pocket all day each day and never even feel that it is there. It will not rub in an irritating way like most things carried in pockets. Also it will never show a bump in your pants.

The fine aluminum scales look sleek and graceful and are even suitable for engraving. The scales are well textured without being abrasive and provide a secure, comfortable grip. It is the perfective executive pocket knife (except that it is not overpriced). It is also the perfective pocket associate for persons who don't want or like to carry a pocket knife, but still may need to open a package or envelope, trim a loose thread, clean a fingernail or turn a screw once in a while. Let's face it, tool use is what sets us isolated from the beasts. Mine has been carried each and everyday for 7 years and still looks perfectly new. I sharpen it when necessitated and it will shave hair. The only time I do not carry this knife is when I want to have a pen on me. In that case I carry the similar Signature knife with retractable pen and tweezers. With either of these great pocket companions at hand, my life is made a little having little impact and more pleasant each day.

These remarks are in no way a derogation of the frequent plastic Classic knife, of which I have several. That is likewise a great product. I just feel that the Alox version takes a great conception to it's extreme refinement. If they tripled the price, I would still be a fan.

Slim, lightweight and lasting in the pocket

This knife Victorinox - Swiss Army Classic SD- Silver Alox Knife is lighter, slimmer and more handsome than the typical Swiss Army Classic with the plastic sides. Although the product description says it has a tweezer and toothpick, as are found on the Classic with plastic sides, this model has neither. That's why it is so much thinner and lighter than the other models. I've carried it on my key chain for regarding a month, and it looks no worse for the wear. A great value at regarding $15.00!

super-handy ghost

This little knife is so light weight you hardly recognise it is in your pocket. It comes to the rescue assorted times per week. At a family gathering for the duration of Christmas it helped open most relatives presents. The knife blade and scissors stay sharp for a long time.
