ReviewA terrific gift for a man or a woman, this sleek credit-card-size tool and manicure kit comes from the widely known and esteemed that produced the Swiss Army knife a century ago. This progressed adaptation of the outdoorsman's pocket knife, however, is designed for 21st-century urbanites. It slips into a wallet, purse, or personal organizer or fits unobtrusively in a vehicle glove compartment. The card holds nine stainless-steel tools that slide out of a sleek translucent-plastic holder. The tools include a letter opener, scissors, ballpoint pen, nail file, screwdriver, tweezers, plastic toothpick, needle, and ruler. The card measures just 3-1/4 inches long, 2-1/6 inches wide, and 1/5-inch thick. A fine example of Swiss engineering science precision, the entire kit weighs less than 1 ounce. The card carries a lifetime warranty versus defects. --Fred Brack

I have two swiss army knives. I happened throughout a camper on a hike more than ten years ago, and have been sold on victorinox knives ever since. Now I have a card too. I have had it for a year now and genuinely get enjoyment from it. I carry it in the credit card slot of my PDA wallet and use it often. The camper is a more inviolable knife but I like this one's portability. The other knife was more than I wanted in my pocket all of the time and this one is just mechanically with me. My only complaint is that it lacks the heft and strength of my other knife, but to be portable you go small. I equated it with the spydercard but I like to have more than just one blade available. Hope this helps!

An valuable tool, though not flawless. The blade is outstanding for stripping off CD packaging (most use), and always handy to have a pair of scissors, altho the scissors cover have a tendancy to snap off through use and cannot be re-attached.

The pen, whilst tiny and not that comfortable to use, has proved an assett.

By G. Powell
There are a number of outstanding credit card knives, (so called because they are when folded the size of a credit card) made by both S.O.G. which makes the "Access card", and Spyderco which makes the "Spydercard". The cost closely is the same and the others have actual utile blades. This thing is cheap, cheap, cheap incomparison. Do yourself a favor and take a look at those others before buying this one.
