Swiss Diamond 10 piece cookware set features a revolutionary non-stick surface using diamond crystals to form a nearly indestructible non-stick cooking surface. This set includes both 1.4 quart and 2.2 quart saucepans with vented tempered clear glass lids, both 8" and 10" fry pans, an 8.5 quart stockpot with vented tempered clear glass lid, and a 3.2 quart sautepan with a vented tempered clear glass lid (fits 10" fry pan). The non-stick surface will not peel, crack, or blister and provides perfective heat distribution for cooking meals containing less fat. The pans are made from a 6mm thick pressure cast aluminum which has a perfectly flat base for use on all ceramic, gas, and electric cook tops. The stay cool handles are ergonomically designed and is safe to use in an oven up to 500F. Metal utensils are safe for use on the non-stick surface and the pan is safe for use in the dishwasher. They DO Scratch

I actually wish that persons would not leave remarks on cookware that they have had for less than a year. Of course when it's new, it's great. However, please note that the reviewers who have had theirs for more than a year are telling you - it DOES scratch - easily. This is a very costly set for nonstick. I took very good care of mine because it was so expensive, I always handwashed my cookware and did not abuse it. But it still scratched after 3 months. Fortunately the company that I purchased it from stood behind it and took it back, because Swiss Diamond's warranty is awful! Look at numerous of these reviews and you'll see that humans who had to deal with the company are saying that Swiss Diamond keeps claiming "abuse". How commodious and shady of the company. The nonstick was outstanding and it cooked nicely, but when mine scratched, I contacted the company and was given, in an email, "this warranty does not cover stains, discoloration, scratch marks, or dents". HUH??? What DOES it cover then? And once a pan is scratched it's ruined. So since it scratched so without apparent effort and the company does not stand behind their warranty, I decisive to return the entire set rather than get stuck with a $500 set that will be just like any other nonstick set within a few years. Don't listen to reviewers who have only had theirs a short while - look at the reviewers who have had theirs for awhile or have had to deal with the company. They are all saying the same thing - it DOES scratch, get pits, and stains and the company does not stand behind it.

NO Service!

I purchased a Swiss Diamond Cookware Set with regards to five years ago and numerous of the pans that I use daily are in truth starting to show "wear and tear." I contacted their Service Department who seemed VERY mesmerized in helping me determine whether galore of the set necessitated replacement. I was asked to send pictures online and full documentation on when I purchased them etc. etc. I responded without delay with what they asked for!

THEN, NO RESPONSE! I even sent an email to the person who in the first place contacted me...NO REPLY!
This cookware is VERY EXPENSIVE! I do NOT commend it because NO ONE FROM THE COMPANY answered my questions in regards to whether it was SAFE TO USE IN REGARD TO WEAR!

Swiss Diamond sautee pan

We expended a lot of cash ($150) on the 12-inch sautee pan which is advertised as "virtally indestructable". We have been very careful with the pan. We don't use metal utensils, put it in the dishwasher, or use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers. The non-stick coating is pitting, flaking and coming off after only eight months.

The company told me that we could send it back (at our expense) and somebody at the company would thoroughly and closely question or examine the pan and determine if they would fix the pan, give us a substitute or return the pan as is.

We are planning to return the pan, but we aren't too hopeful.

Having not long back read rather a few reviews of other companies' non-stick cookware, it seems that this is a mutual problem. Caveat emptor!
