Kindle version - No index for travel guide--poor formating By College Counselor I purchased the Kindle version of this guide to use for the duration of my Swiss travels. I returned it within ten minutes. Unlike the print edition, there is no index. I want to be capable to look up a town speedily on my iphone. Without an index, I have to go through the contents which gives regions and "turn" through pages to get to peculiar towns. Very tedious and defeats the aim of a digital book with hyperlinks. I can't commend the digital version of this book. 5 of 6 people found the following review helpful.
great guide for switzerland By Golfer 4 I applied this guide and the Rick Steve's guide for a trip to Switzerland. This guide if far better than Frommer's or Fodor's but I agree it needs to be altered for current restaurants and lodging. 7 of 9 humans found the following review helpful.
Great guide, needs to be updated By NYCSpark I purchased this guide along with the Michelin guide. The Michelin guide was useless, I primarily applied this guide for my trip. The only gripe I have is that it needs to be modified as a number of the restaurants were no longer open. Other than that, I highly commend it for Swiss travel. See all 4 client reviews... |
