Swiss Peeler

Don’t let the little size fool you. The Original Swiss Peeler from Kuhn Rikon is a powerhouse. Its super-sharp carbon steel blade cuts better that peelers that cost 3-4 times more. Ergonomic design works in right or left hand. Carbon steel horizontal Y blade with commodious potato eye remover. Set of 3: 1 each: red, green, yellow

star50 tpng swiss peelerBest ever vegetable peeler ever in the universe
By Mr Hulot
I've used these peelers for more than 20 years. They last until someone breaks them doing something stupid (like attempting to open a jar with one). I peel 100 to 200 pounds of potatoes a year. I peel more than one hundred pounds of carrots a year. A good peeler is really, actually important in my kitchen. The bright colors make it easy to find the peeler in the knife drawer (unless you get a dark one). I have, at any one time, three in , one or two as back ups. Most of the back ups are given to friends who see the peelers in use and who had not one thing as good. For $3.50 I may be a hero. Anyway, if you have a typical crappy vegetable peeler, throw it away and order numerous of these. You'll thank me later.

star50 tpng swiss peelerthe best!
By B. Claude
this little peeler may look like not one thing equated to other imagination peelers, but it is the best. it has the strength of more spectacular ones without all the fuss. the three pack is a steal for the money. i like the grip, it is comfortable to hold. it is little so it stores effortlessly in drawer baskets. even tho it has a poly/plastic(?) grip, it is sturdy and handles tougher items like butternut squash. the blade rotates sufficient to slide over veggies without twisting like a lot of others do. i looked for a long time for a good strong peeler, purchased a few of the larger names, (kitchen aid) and came back to this simple marvel..i love it. you will too!

star30 tpng swiss peelerWorks great but rusts easily
By M. Johnson
I love this peeler, I have purchased assorted because it makes the dreaded act of peeling closely anything quicker & easier. HOWEVER, the blade rusts. I have had to hand wash & arid to prevent, but even then it rusts eventually. It is likewise not so very comfortable in the hand. I am looking for a similar peeler that will not rust, and will sit more comfortably in my hand (essential when doing a lot of cooking for agreeably diverting or for the holiday meals). For the quality, I think it is unquestionably over-priced.
